It was the last semester of 2018. I enrolled in CAD-CAM course, which is the last area that will teach Adobe software. In the past two years, I only knew how to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Nevertheless, this course will guide how to create booklets by using Adobe InDesign and create short video trailers for brands with the help of Adobe AfterEffects.

The first task was based on creating a booklet about the brand I selected, Anthropologie. Firstly, research must be carried out to understand the brand, past window display layouts, in-store layout, and product categories. After a deep understanding of Anthropologie, a window display, store plan and in-store views should be designed. Below are the illustrations for a window display and in-store layout designed to suit the brand and a pdf file of the booklet.

The second assignment was an exceptional experience. By grouping up with a team, the task was to choose a new brand, pick a few merchandises from the brand and carry out a photoshop to create a lookbook and a trailer video. The book was created by using the InDesign software, which was very similar to Illustrator. When it comes to video editing, Adobe After Effects found to be very difficult to catch up for the first time. Fortunately, with the aid of youtube tutorials and guidance by my lecturer, I was able to create this work shown below.
