I can't believe what I found today after so long. It's my lovely bracelet made by me back in 2015, in those free times I had at home. During those free days, my best friend used to visit me every day and spend her whole day at my place. So, most of the time, we either lookup for something we would like to build or make a good cake. One day, we came-across of a bracelet made out of a zipper. That made us create one of our own in our ways. I'll walk you through the requirements and steps to get it done.

Things you need:

  • A thick teethed zipper of length 14.5cm

  • A nice lace

  • A needle

  • A thread of any colour that matches or gives a contrast (I'll go with contrasting colour)

  • Beads of different shapes

  • Two snaps

  • Nice cord

  • Spike square studs

  • Round studs

  • Two elastic strips of length 5cm

Step 1: First take the lace and cut a piece by measuring around your wrist.

Step 2: Now let's decorate the zipper. First, place the beads and round studs and see if it looks good. Start stitching down the beads on to the zipper. Then pin down the round studs as well.

ree
Step 3: Keep the decorated zipper on top of the wrist sized lace you cut. The zipper shouldn't be flat on the lace, it should have a slight room to move.

ree
Step 4: Align both centres of the zipper and the lace. Pin the ends of the zipper on to the lace by using four sike square studs.

ree
Step 5: Take the two elastic strips. Stitch them on to the lace where it gets covered by the hand.

ree
Step 6: Then stitch down two pair of snaps on the elastic strips facing outwards.

And you are done with the bracelet. For further decorations, you can tangle two cords around the elastic strips and put two or three beads to the cords ends to look nice. There you go for DIY bracelets.
