A QUICK DIY I CREATED

It was another usual school vacation in 2015. I was feeling so frazzled with the old necklaces I have in my drawer. I wanted something new. My mom blames me all the time when I don't easily agree during shopping. Truth be told, it's really hard to find something that catches my eye.

This is where I decide to create something my own. Firstly, I went through Statement necklaces on Pinterest. I got caught up with one necklace with big rose flowers while searching. Thereupon, I decided to find a simple way to create it by myself.

Materials needed to make a necklace:

• Any type of lace

• Few coloured beads of your choice

• A chain

• Hot glue gun

• Pair of scissors

• A toothpick

Step 1: Grab the lace that you want to make a rose. Cut three lace stripes of length 20cm.

Step 2: Swirl it around the toothpick, and then remove it carefully from the pick. Then glue the bottom of the lace flower.

Step 3: Place three beads at the centre of each flower.

Step 4: Place one flower right at the centre of the chain necklace. Then place the other two flowers two sides of the centre flower.
