DESIGNING A COLLECTION FOR L'USINE - MAJOR B

After 6 months of teamwork, my group was finally able to bring our collection into life in front of our classmates and the L'Usine officers. During the first 3 months of gathering information of customers by using surveys and carrying interviews with the employees, has resulted in our group to choose the inspiration for our collection. After pitching our idea of "City Muse" collection to the L'Usine officers regarding our story, key details and accessories, the semester break came. Until the next semester starts, my group and I divided our tasks to develop garments under the key details as stated in the Major A second assignment. My task was to develop midi-length skirts during the break. When the second semester started, all five of us discussed what to choose out of our sketches to create the final range and the line-up of our collection. After so many debates, we all happily agreed with the below looks which were forwarded for sample production.

In our first assignment submitted for Major B (in the second semester of the capstone project) contains in-breath information of how launching and promotion will be carried out for our collection.

Finally, the final assignment of our project was to prepare for the presentation to our L'Usine clients. Thenceforth, our group had to create the range book, the look book, a prop for the window display, and props for packaging and promotional ideas. Below you see is the gallery of our six months of team work for our final project. This is how my teammates and I built the Mini Window Display structure for our presentation. I am very grateful for having the best group to complete the final project of our degree. They always knew the meaning behind teamwork and did not forget to have fun at the same time.
